National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The event will open at 10:00am with speakers, and a march from the former school grounds, near U’mista to the Big House and back where lunch will be served followed by the unveiling of a temporary monument. We expect the event to be finished at 2:00pm.

There will be support staff on site as it will be an emotional day. Tsow Tun Le Lum and Indian Residential School Survivors’ Society will be present for additional support as well as our local counselors.
